Tamara Lich is a Medicine Hat, Alberta-based activist, author, and one of the central organizers of Canada's 2022 Freedom Convoy — the truckers' protest against COVID-19 vaccine mandates that blockaded downtown Ottawa for over three weeks and garnered international attention. A proud Métis woman and Saskatchewan native, she is a passionate advocate for the rights and freedoms of Canadians, with a particular focus on the oil and gas sector.
An early leader of Alberta's Wexit movement, Lich brought her skills in logistics, administration, and organization to the convoy after connecting with fellow organizer Chris Barber in January 2022. Described as "the spark that lit this fire," she became one of the most public faces of the protest.
