I thought it was time to put this out there. Many things have changed. I am proud of the people of Alberta and I feel it is time that we highlight our strengths. When we work together we can do amazing things.

Thank you for listening and being a part of our great movement.

Hey, I’m not a lumberjack, or a fur trader, and I don’t live in an igloo or eat blubber, or own a dogsled. And I don’t know Jimmy, Sally, or Suzie from Red Deer, although I’m sure they’re really, really nice.

I have a Premier, not a Prime Minister. I speak English and I pronounce it “about,” not “aboot.” I can proudly say that children need to be protected by parents. I believe in freedom, hard work, the right to own land, a home and guns. I believe in helping my neighbours, minding my business but working to create successful and resilient communities.

Alberta is the second-largest oil producer in the world, the birthplace of the Canadian Rockies, the Caesar and home to the Calgary Stampede. Our landscapes are rugged, our winters are cold, and our hearts are warm.

We have the best beef, the bluest skies, and the most resilient people. With our resources we support many of our neighbours, but still have little say in who and how we sell our oil & gas. We value our independence, our community, and our future.

My name is Bruce, and I am Albertan!
