In the latest episode of my podcast, I had the privilege of hosting Chris Marchuk and Laura Chambers, two community members who were part of a group of seven individuals that attended a significant city council meeting in Calgary on November 18. This meeting, focused on community concerns, highlighted issues around urban development, public engagement, and governance. Chris Marchuk, known for his advocacy in local politics, and Laura Chambers, a long-time resident with deep roots in Calgary's civic life, provided insights into their motivations, experiences, and the broader implications of their involvement.
